Mitte (literally “center” in German), is the oldest district of the city of Bremen, in it, you can find the Altstadt district and Bremen’s central railway station.

Altstadt or Bremen’s historic center is located on the north bank of the Weser River.

Altstadt (literally “old town”) concentrates the medieval soul of the city and it’s one the best areas to stay in Bremen.

The oldest district of the city, Schnoorviertel, with its shops and outdoor restaurants, is located not far away.
