Nearby, on Plazoleta de San Francisco, the bell tower of the Chapel of the Immaculate Conception displays one of the most prominent examples of Mudéjar style architecture in the Americas.

Perhaps the most striking architectural landmarks in the center of Cali can be found around Plaza de Caicedo.
