Where to Stay in Bratislava: A Personal Take

My trips to Bratislava were short yet memorable. On my first visit, even though I only stayed for one night on my way to Budapest, I had a comfortable time at the BlueBell Hotel. The place provides a cozy stay without any fuss. During both of my times in the city, I opted to settle down there and it was a convenient base for exploring around.

I personally suggest staying in Staré Mesto, especially if you, like myself, visit the city during the winter. Since it gets quite cold, having your hotel nearby is handy so you can warm up quickly after venturing outside. On my next trip, though, I’ll visit during the warmer months and stay in Nové Mesto. I’ve heard great things about the area’s natural scenery and look forward to discovering that aspect of Bratislava myself.
