{"id":364,"date":"2010-12-15T14:03:00","date_gmt":"2010-12-15T14:03:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/inasidea.wordpress.com\/2010\/12\/15\/foto-reportaje-la-calle-mas-fea-de-europa"},"modified":"2011-09-18T14:30:33","modified_gmt":"2011-09-18T13:30:33","slug":"foto-reportaje-la-calle-mas-fea-de-europa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/xixerone.com\/foto-reportaje-la-calle-mas-fea-de-europa.html","title":{"rendered":"Foto-reportaje: La Calle m\u00e1s fea de Europa"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"text-align: left;\" dir=\"ltr\">En mi \u00faltima visita a Sof\u00eda hace una semana, tuve el placer de re-visitar el Bulevar de Maria Luiza, una larga avenida de media capacidad que conecta el centro de la ciudad con la estaci\u00f3n central de trenes de la capital b\u00falgara.Mi fascinaci\u00f3n con esta calle, por lo dem\u00e1s bastante anodina, es el hecho de que ostenta el t\u00edtulo de &#8220;la calle m\u00e1s horrible de Europa&#8221; seg\u00fan el cr\u00edtico, escritor y poeta brit\u00e1nico Arthur Symons, quien no s\u00f3lo solt\u00f3 esta perla al visitar la ciudad en 1903, sino que adem\u00e1s declar\u00f3 que el bulevar en cuesti\u00f3n era un &#8220;hijo mestizo entre dos civilizaciones, que iba andrajoso por el rechazo de ambas&#8221;. Aunque mucho ha llovido desde 1903, al visitar Maria Luiza, puedes entender a qu\u00e9 se refer\u00eda el borde Symons si bien la fealdad de la pobre Mar\u00eda no justifica tanta mala leche.<\/p>\n<p>He de agregar que el leer esto en mi gu\u00eda de viajes la primera vez que visit\u00e9 Sof\u00eda, lejos de hacer que huyera despavorido, hizo que me apeteciera a\u00fan m\u00e1s visitar la infame avenida.<\/p>\n<p>La verdad es que con una capa de pintura y algo de cari\u00f1o la calle podr\u00eda ser hasta no-fea, ya que la arquitectura del lugar es rica y variada; palacetes barrocos, casas modernistas y edificios art-dec\u00f3 que conviven con algunas edificaciones de la era sovi\u00e9tica no tan halag\u00fce\u00f1as y que afortunadamente Arthur Symons no lleg\u00f3 a ver.<\/p>\n<p>Yo personalmente estoy convencido de que en Europa hay calles m\u00e1s feas, \u00bfvosotros qu\u00e9 opin\u00e1is?.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align:
