Lake Bled is the most important attraction and the central axis of the city. In its centre stands a small island with a hermitage, the Church of the Assumption.

Bled Castle, considered the oldest in Slovenia, is suspended on a rocky cliff overlooking one of the lake’s shores.

Very close to the city of Bled, you can visit unbeatable natural landscapes such as the Bled Gorge or the Triglav National Park, with imposing perennial snow peaks and immense forests that seem straight out of a fairy tale.

Getting to Bled is not as easy as other European tourist destinations, but maybe that’s the main reason why the area has kept its charm.

The Lesce-Bled railway station is 4 km from the centre of Bled. Bled can be reached by bus Bled Jezero Train Station, which is just 1.5 km from the centre of Bled.

There are also long-distance bus connections between the main Slovenian cities and Bled, the bus station is located next to the Lesce-Bled railway station.
